Is it possible to have a document save so changes are saved but the document
opens with the changes hidden by default?

Hi Havenlad,

You generally only get to control how it opens on your computer.

MS has intentionally made it more difficult to not have visible the unresolved changes in the documents due to unintended
information being sent out in documents that 'looked' done.
