Tracking tasks with multiple recources

I have 2 resources for 1 task. One of resource is user, but another is not.
For example:
Task - "Show presentation"
Resources - Peter and "show room"
So, Peter show presentation and update status of assignment.
In project tracking i see that task is in 50% done, but must in 100%!
"show room" resource can not to report progress

You must manually update the % Complete for the show room resource in the
actual Microsoft Project plan. Hope this helps.

Can i configure server to do that without human help?
I wrote just example, but in enterprise conditions is not possible to track
every task manualy!

If it is not possible to track such detail, then perhaps you should consider
whether or not it makes sense to plan at that level of detail.
