Transferred files to CD, became read only won't allow me to chang.

I transferred files from my computer to a CD and they all turned into Read
Only files. My computer won't allow me to remove the read only in the
Property section when I try to apply it says an error occurred and acces is
denied. Only one of the files was password protected.

Files on a CD *are* read-only. If you copy the files from the CD to
your hard drive, you should be able to remove the read-only attribute
from the copy on the HD.
