traveling shortcut to macro

In Word 2003, I created a macro that is housed in a document itself. I also
assigned a shortcut, Alt+A, to run the macro. When I send the document to
another computer I see that the macro is available, but the shortcut does not
work. My document is for use by 100's of managers at a client, so I need
something simple like a shortcut (rather than Tools >> Macros >> select
correct macro >> Run). And I can't mess with their normal template. Is
there any way to create a shortcut for others using the doument? I am more
used to doing thee kinds of things in Excel where you simply create a button.

TIA.

When you set up the shortcut, did you change the "Save changes in" dropdown in
the Customize Keyboard dialog so it would be saved in the document, instead of
in your Normal.dot template?
