Treo 650 Verizon Error

I have a Palm Treo 650 with Verizon Wireless. When I synced it came back
with the following error:

The Handheld database could not be opened synchronization failed
Entourage Conduit synchronization failed
³Entourage Conduit² failed (error = #16388)

Any suggestions?

I have the same error. It was working fine for a full day - I did
umpteen syncs -- but then after installing VersiChat things starting
going haywire. Did you happen to install this other software as well?

I've reinstalled the Entourage conduit, rebooted the Mac, rebooted the
phone.

Anyone have any clues?

I have the same exact issue as both you and SanDiegoGuy. I spoke with
Verizon, palmOne, Apple and Microsoft. I was told by Microsoft that
they know that this is an issue, however that their techs haven't come
up with a solution yet. They suggested that I keep coming back to this
site as well as Mactopia and Verizon. Apparently all three companies
(however, not palmOne ... who appear to be washing their hands of this
anomaly since its not a Palm Desktop issue) are trying to figure out
the problem. Please let me know if either of you figure this one out.
Its a bummer not being able to sync Entourage with Treo 650 ... you
lose the benefit.
