I just downloaded a trial version of office 2003. When attempting to
install, the following error occurs. OfficeSTD.exe is not a valid win32
application.
clicking ok is the only option.
I have went into the file and tried running in win 2k compatability as well
as 98, no such luck. Any Ideas?

Corrupt download. And of course it won't run with either compatibility mode
as it's not compatible!
