How do I set up for a tri-fold (Landscape) broshure in MS Publisher 2003. I
can't find a template for it.

Thanks
Jim

Then one, more or all of the following must be true: -

1) You're very, blind (in which case I suggest you avail yourself of the
services of an optician)
2) You're very very stupid (in which case may I suggest we stay away from
big complicated things like computers and stick to felt-tips, crayons and
poster paints? If you want to get really technical maybe Mummy will let you
use the glue.)
3) You haven't bothered to look.

Publisher 2003 has over 100 templates for tri-fold brochures. If you don't
have the cranial capacity to find them, then would venture to suggest that
the rest of the application is going to be a complete mystery to you...

What you want can be found by clicking the mouse twice. The application
even helps you in this regard: -

START

<------ To get started, select an option in the list. Then, by following the
big orangey-yellow arrow you would have seen a list with the following
options: -

Publications for Print
Websites and Email
Design Sets
Blank Publications
Templates

You should have then thought "what do I want to do?" I want to create a
tri-fold brochure - I wonder where I could find that option?" A
mentally-retarded baboon could have found it through a process of trial and
error - you, obviously don't have the mental faculties of a
intellectually-challenged primate.

You are the winner of Moron of the Month for February - yes, the month may
only be four days old, but I cannot imagine I'm going to see anything
stupider.

Try
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/results.aspx?Scope=TC&Query=trifold+brochure
. Items with a "P" to the left of the template name are Publisher
templates, and items with a "W" are Word templates.

Huh?! Publisher 2003 has over 100 tri-fold brochure templates - if he's too
fuckwitted to find them (and a mentally-retarded baboon could find them in
under a minute) then the rest of the application is going to be a complete
enigma to him...

I thought about what I wanted to do and what I wanted to do it with! I
wanted a blank publication template for a tri-fold broshure. So I followed
your "yellow arrow" to "Blank Publications" (because I didn't want all the
artsy craftsy art work) and in the template area I found the bi-fold
broshures. It doesn't take much imagination to realize that this might also
the place to store the tri-folds.

My time is valuable and I don't have time to wander around poorly designed
menu trees looking for lost items.

You, on the other hand, have (given the quality of your assistance on this
issue) too much time on your hands. I guess your time and opinions are not
very valuable. Why don't you use that time to go back to school and learn
something about effective and professional communications.

Jim

PS: Don't try raising any children. You don't have the mind set for it.
