Trouble inserting color pictures into Publisher 2003

I opened a publisher document with Publisher 2003 that had previously been
saved in Publisher 2000. When I try to insert a color picture, it always
comes through in black and white and I cannot restore the colors in the
original picture. What do I need to do.

Check your printer settings.

Maybe the 2000 file was setup for Commercial Printing. In Publisher, tools,
commercial printing tools, color printing, tick Any Color.
