Diane

Hi,
I was temporarily using Outlook 2003 while my computer was
being repaired (which uses Outlook 2002) When I try to
convert .pst file from 2003 back to my computer 2002 It
says pst file is not compatable...Is this true the versions
are not backward compatable???? Thank you, Diane

Hi Diane,

yes that's true. But there is a second choice:

You need Outlook 2003, create a new PST and choose *Outlook 97-2002 format*.
Open the PST with 2003 format parallel and copy between both PST files.

You can use the PST (97-2002 format) in Outlook XP.

This should work.

bye
