trying to type and other things open by themselves

when i try to type in word or excel sometimes (not all the
time) when i hit e - it opens explorer
r - it opens run
d - goes to desktop
how can i stop this,why does it happen? I thought maybe my
ctrl or alt key were sticking so i bought a new keyboard -
it's still happening - please help, it's making me
crazy

Hi Jeannine,

It's one of the Windows keys that seems to have gotten stuck (... the ones
with the Windows flag on it).

If you don't hit it by accident, and if exchanging the keyboard didn't
help, it might be a keyboard driver issue.

Or perhaps a setting in the "Accessibility" options (Do you have set Alt,
Ctrl, ... to be sticky keys?)...
