Two Copies of All Email

Suddenly my Outlook 2000 started downloading two copies of
every email, even from two different accounts.

One account is set to clear the server. The other is not.

But suddenly, I get double everything.

I am having the identical problem and I am about to pull
my hair out. I notice that I am not alone, many other
users are experienceing the same difficulties. I read
somewhere that installing windows XP (which I run) SP1 and
SP2, may help, but I can't even install SP1 due to a
technical difficult that Microsft admits and there is no
current workaround for it.

We have all shelled out big $ for XP, Office XP and other
MS programs. WHat do we have to do to prevent 3-5
versions of the same email being donwloaded at the same
time or hours apart?

Could you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q240347) and post
the pop3log.txt file?
