Un-installing Office deletes ALL .pst files

B

Brodie

After making not one but two copies of my huge .pst file into 2 different
folders, I un-installed and re-installed MS Office 2002 only to find the
un-install process hunted down ALL copies of the .pst file and deleted them
without any warning !

Is there a remote possibility there is a copy under a different name and/or
extension or even hidden somewhere ?

Not real happy about losing 1.2Gb of stuff.

Cheers

Office uninstalls do not delete your files. search your hard drive for
files with a .pst extension - if using Windows 2000 or XP, ensure you have
searching hidden and system files turned on.
