Unable to Delete Contacts

After importing contacts into Outlook we are having
difficulty deleting the contacts. Although they can be
deleted it takes up to 2 minutes to delete each contact.
As we are importing up to 1,000 contacts at a time you can
see how this is a problem. Has anyone else had this
problem?? Please help. Thanks!

I'm a bit confused by your post -- if you just imported the contacts into
Outlook, why are you already deleting them?? Where are you deleting them
from?
