Unable to delete folders

J

Jeff

I have some users that have created there own folders in
outlook. Now they want them deleted. We deleted them
during the day and then the next day when they come back,
the folders are back in their outlook.

These are not public folders they are just folders that
they needed for awhile and now they want them gone.

I have tried deleting and creating their exchange
mailbox. I have also tried to create a new profile to see
if that would work.

Thanks in advance for any help
Jeff

Subfolders in the Exchange mailbox or separate pst-file? Also post your
version of Outlook.

So they show up in the tree of "Mailbox - UserName"?

If you recreated the Exchange Mailbox the mailbox should be wiped clean.
Search the harddisk for *.ost files and rename them to *.old. Make sure you
include hidden and system files/folders.

Yes, they show up in the tree of the mailbox - username.

I did a search for *.ost and found nothing. I included
the hidden and system files/folders.
