Unable to edit a shared notebook

All of the sudden I am unable to edit a shared notebook in Onenote. It now
says that I have read only access. I was able to edit yesterday - but not
today. This is only occurring for 1 tab in the notebook - not the entire
notebook. I have SP1 for Office installed. I have tried closing/reopening
the notebook. Then I tried optimizing the notebook, closing, reopening…to no
avail.

You should go in Windows Explorer and find the file that represents this one
tab. It could be that the file is set to be read only, or that you don't
have the necessary file permissions to edit it. Right-click the file, choose
properties and check the Attributes and Security Permissions.
