Unable to install Office 2003 Pro

Hi,

Hope somebody can help with this very annoying problem as it's driving me
mad.

I have just purchased a new laptop from PC World, and it has Micosoft Office
2003 Standard Edition installed, however every time I run Word or Excel etc.
etc., it prompts to input a key code which I don't have.

Before I bought the laptop I had purchased Office 2003 Pro edition, so I
thought I might be able to uninstall the standard edition which came
pre-installed on the laptop, and then install the the Pro edition after
doing so.

After installation of the pro edition is complete, i try to run Word, or
Excel etc, and is still prompts me to enter the Key code for the standard
edition.

How can I fix this problem?

Any ideas?
