Unable to re-install Office 2007 Pro Plus Beta

R

Rick

Hi, all...

I've been using Office 2007 Pro Beta for a couple of months now without any
problems other than its slow, CPU gobbling behavior.

To remedy the problems, I thought perhaps MS had made some updates to my
build, so I decided to download and re-install the beta.

First I uninstalled the original beta, then attempted to reinstall the new
download.

I get all the way through the installation process to the point where it
starts to actually do the installation and it returns an error and aborts the
installation.

Anyone have any clues what might be happening or any knowledge of online
resources that address this situation?

Thanks,

Rick

There have been no updates to the Beta since its public release. Try using
the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and then try the installation again.
Otherwise, you may want to roll back to your previous version and then try
an upgrade.
