I recently noticed i am unable to save a word doc to my floppy within word 2003
the floppy works fine using other applications within win2k Pro
I've read this is a problem when using office 2003, does anybody have a fix
I do have a work around, save to the hd, then using explorer save to the
floppy
however in this day of labor saving software this is klutzing it...

No, no, no!! You never save a file in Word (or any program) to a floppy.
That "shortcut" you've been taking is a shortcut to a corrupt file.

If you have applied the post SP-4 Roll-up for Windows 2000, this is a known
problem. You will need to download the latest Windows 2000 post SP-4 patch
to fix this issue.
