UNinstalling ppviewer

I saw there was a new viewer for ppt to replace my old one
I downloaded the new ppviewer to my XP Pro computer (SP2), and tried to
install
The installer said "A previous version......"
When I go to Control panel to uninstall the old version, it does not show up

What to do next ??

You probably already have the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer on your system. It will
not show up in the Control Panel. Do a search for pptview.exe in your
C:\Program Files folder. Note that the file you are looking for is pptview.exe.
