hi,
for the past week or so a number of my website files are now showing up as
unmatched on both my webhost server and my pc - i'm using frontpage 2003. i
have searched the forum for help and tried all of the recommended solutions
with no luck - the files just return to 'unmatched' no matter what.
for example, i have tried these methods:
completely removing the entire website from my hard disk, then publishing
the webfiles from the server to my pc - immediately i get the same result.
i've tried both 'replace all' and 'only changed files' - both ways.
i've also tried a complete replace from my hard drive to the webserver and i
still get unmatched files.
i've tried deleting files from the webserver and then copying the file up
from my hard disk - after it shows as unchanged, it shortly reverts back to
unmatched.
in addition to my .html files that are showing as unmatched, i'm also
getting files i never change such as 'favicon.ico', 'animate.js' and
'php.ini' showing up as unmatched - ????
the only good thing is that even though they show up as 'unmatched' when i
do publish my website from my pc to the server, the only files that actually
transfer are the ones i know i have changed.
any suggestions on how to put ms frontpage back to normal would be greatly
appreciated.
