Unprotecting a Form

I have a form, that uses macros and field codes, that is no longer layed out
correctly because the tracking is on. When I unprotect the form to turn the
tracking off, some of the macros in the form no longer work. Do you have any
suggestions on why this is happening?

I am not really sure where (revision?) tracking comes into this, but the
formfields and any macros that are assigned to run on entry to or exit from
the formfields will only work if the document is protected.

Why do you need to have tracking on for a form? Is is still being prepared?

If it is still being prepared, and you are getting amendments from others
why not do a document compare for their feedback rather than use tracking.

So switch tracking off permanently, and keep the form protected.

Hope this helps

The problem is with the unprotecting. Once the form is unprotected (so that
I can turn the tracking off), it no longer works, even after it's
reprotected. I'm not sure why the tracking is on in the first place, this
was developed by an outside company but then bought in house because of costs.
