I have a series of tasks that require a varying amount of work effort,
mulitple resource, with a fixed deadline (Finish no later than). I don't
care about the order that they get done in. I just want to know if there is
enough time and resources to get them done in time. I have been provided
updates to the tasks as %complete, which I entered. I know want to see how
much work is left in the remaining amount of time to see what can and can't
get done. I have set the check box to "Move start of remaining ... to status
date" and entered a status date. When I select tools>tracking>update
project>reschedule uncomplete work after status date, the tasks that haven't
started don't move, which I would like them to. If I remove the constraing,
they do move. I thought I read that MS Project honors the constraints.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Johnny
