Update Access Database

I'm using FrontPage 2000 with Windows XP. I seem to be
able to create forms within FrontPage to input/append data
to an existing Access table. And, I seem to be able to
update records if I type in the information to identify
which record to update.

However, I can't seem to figure out to do what I want,
which is:

1. Create a drop-down list populated with all the choices
for the field from the database.

2. Then, based on the selection made by the user,
populate the remaining fields of the same table with the
information from the database so the user can edit it.

3. Once the information is edited, then update the Access
record.

Any information would be very helpful.
