Upgrade to Office 2003

I currently have Office 2000, with Access 97. I am looking to upgrade them
all to Office 2000. My question is, how will the old files/programs I've
created in 2000 and 97 respond when they are now being used in Office 2003?
Do they need to be updated, or is it backward compatible and should be fine.

Also, I have a few databases created in Access 97 that have workgroups on
them for security purposes. How will this database do if it is opened in
Access 2003. Does a conversion need to take place? Thanks.

The Access97 DB's will need to be coverted to at least Access 2000 level
if you wish to anything other than "read" them. Sugest you make a copy
and then convert as some of the macro's and VB defaults canged.
