upgrading from office 2003 --> office 2007 used up about 1GB

Hello all -

Today I upgraded from office 2003 --> office 2007. I believe my hard drive
space decreased by about 1GB; definitely 1/2 GB.

Are there any "old" vestiges of Office 2003 that I can delete? If so, how
would I find them and then how would I delete them?

It's not like I'm running out of space on my hard drive, but I do like to
keep as clean as a system as possible.

Thanks for any help!

Office 2007 puts a hidden folder called MSOCache on your HDD - (whether
Office 2003 does that I don't know) that contains all the installation
files. It's there so that if you add or remove components of Office (like
converters) you don't need the CD....On my machine that's about 307 MB.....

You cleared your temp files?
If you look in Add/Remove, it will show there if you have any Office2003
remaining
