This depends on whether or not your "rented" space has
Front Page Extensions.

If they do:

1. open the local copy of your web in Front Page,

2. select Publish from the File menu,

3. when prompted type in the address of your website. For
example if your website is named "newbie.com" you would
type "http://newbie.com"

4. type in your username and password that have been
assigned to your account for this website

With that said, if you have just opened your account it
will take several days for your domain name (eg,
newbie.com) to be registered and become recognizable to
the Internet. This registration maps your domain's IP
(Internet Protocal) numeric address to your actual domain
name. If you are in a real hurry, as I was, you can use
the numeric IP address.

You need to know the IP address where you are sending your
web site. Try clicking on Publish and it should ask for
that IP address. Once you enter it you shouldn't have to
do it in the future.
