Uploading a project and assigning tasks automatically

I am not sure how this is supposed to work but I have
used a person that is part of my global resource on my
project plan. When I upload it to the server that person
doesnt get assigned the tasks given to them. How does
that work? How can I do this? Any resources I can read?

You must publish the project so that the resource can see his/her task
assignments in Project Web Access. To publish, click Collaborate -
Publish - All Information. Hope this helps.
