Urgent Help: Restore default after Safe Mode

Hi All,

I hit error while trying to open a project(MPP) file, I dont remember what
is the exact message but something like this "Microsoft Project now under
'Safe
Mode'. Do you want to continue? "

I pressed "No" and application loded with minimal options, then I restart my
pc. I have try to open Microsoft Project after restarting but it still loaded
with minimal options. How can I restore the default options?

I've tried re-install and detact/repair Microsoft Project, but when I load
the application it will still in minimal options. I can't work with those
options. I've activated this project and been using it quite a while before
it hit the safe mode error.

Please help, thanks in advance.

Did you try to start a new project to see it has the same problem? Did you
email the project to someone else to see if it's the file that's got the
problem?
Next time answer yes to work under safe mode. Restart after it loads...

Found this when I did a search for Fix It:
Automatically repair Microsoft Project
You can automatically repair Microsoft Project using Microsoft Project 2000
or later versions only.
Caution When you use Detect and Repair in Microsoft Project, the program
automatically finds and fixes errors in all Microsoft Office files. By
default, some personalized settings are restored, such as a user name or
recently used file settings. However, you may want to discard these
personalized settings if you suspect they have been corrupted. [ Click for
more ]
When repairing errors in Office files, the following default settings may be
reset:
The Office Assistant character selection
The size of the program window
Menu and toolbar positions and customization
Security levels
View settings
Also, most recently used entries on the File menu are removed. And you need
to reenter your user name and initials when you restart Microsoft Project.

I've tried Detect and Repair in Mircrosoft Project 2003 and even Re-Install
the software, but it doesn't fix the problem.

Now I try to create another new account in WinXP. I login using the new
account and open Microsoft Project, it is repaired and it has all the default
options.

Can I know where to clear/delete the registry for Microsoft Project for the
first account? I suspect that the registry is corrupted and I still want to
use the Project in my account because I had all stuffs in that account.

Your problem is past what I know. I have had corruption in a project once. MS
Proj. team suggested I hit save as soon as the project opened. This did help.
