Use one data file for multiple web pages...

Wayne Heidler

Greetings,
I am using FrontPage 2002 and have set up a web page. Now I am updating the
functionality of the various pages and have a question.
I have a list of names, address, email address, etc. that can change at any
time. I would like to set up, as simple as possible, a way that I could
change the information on one page and all other pages would be changed. I
know that it is possible, but I have not found a clear and easy way.

Any help will be met with cheers of happiness...
Thanks,
Wayne

Use Tools->Site Settings - Parameters tab to add your list of items to
the web.
Then on each page place the cursor where required,
Insert->Web Component->Included Content->Substitution
and choose the item to be added at the cursor.

The list of parameters can be edited.

Not that I am aware of.
An alternative is to use server-side scripting to get the parameters
from a database and write them to the pages.
