using a database without access

I was told there was a way to convert an access database
so that it could be used on a computer that does not have
access. does anyone know how to do this? any help would
be appreciated.

You have to own the Developer's edition and create a setup disk that will
install a 'runtime' version of Access as well as your database. They still
get Access, but it is a light version that is used to run your database. The
'runtime' version in royalty free, which means you can install it to as many
computer as you need.

Older developer editions will be hard to come by so you may be forced to
give them 2002 or 2003 version (if available).
