Using A text box to show status change.

Eddie

Hello all,

I'm new to using access, But what I would like to try to do is make a text
box that the text with change to show a status message when the value in an
option group is changed. so if the value is 1 it will Say "hello", when the
value changes to 2 it will say " goodbye" in the text box. (Not the actual
messages just and example) The option group has 4 diffrent values.

Figured could use IF Cmd.txt1 = "1", "Massage1" and so on for each of the
values for that feild.

Any suggestions?

Is this the same question posted in the microsoft.public.access newsgroup?

"RE: How to use If in expression builder to make rectangle fill wit"

I believe the question is answered there. (creating duplicate posts is
rarely necessary)

Or are there two "Eddies" in the world? <g>
