Using custom fields in reports

Hi

Is there any way to use the field 'Cost 1' in cash flow report? It
seems as the field 'Cost' is the only one available in this report.

I use a system for cost estimating construction work where I can link
elements from the cost estimate (with resource usage, man hours and my
estimated income) to activities and then export this to MS Project.
After having planned the activities I'd like to use the field with
income to generate a payment plan for the project. The only problem is
that the income is exported to the field 'Cost 1' and I can't figure out
a way to use this field in a cash flow report instead of the field
'Cost'.

Hello Espen,

The Cash Flow report is using timescaled data. None of the custom
fields (Cost1, Cost2, etc) are timescaled, so Project cannot know
how to present the data in the Cash flow report.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi

Found a simple workaround for this. Just copy/paste all rows from the
cost1-column to he cost-column.
