Using different fonts for webpage

Tim

Hi there,

I had downloaded a new font to use for my website, but it is not a font that
comes standard with MS. Therefore, my friends cannot see the font as I
intended it to look. How do I make sure that others can see the new font
that I have used for my website? Do they too have to download it?...or is
there another way?

A web page will only display those fonts installed on the users
system, so non-standard fonts will need to be downloaded and
installed.
You can make images using the new font for headings, and use the
images instead of text.

Or don't bother - neither of those first two solutions is worth the effort
(frankly, I'm not even sure the second one is available). If it is,
however, it's not cross-browser reliable (just like WEFT).

There are some new approaches to this, called sIFR -

or here -

and TIP -

But that's about it.....

Try Microsoft's WEFT or, for a more reliable solution, Bitstream. Or,
save the text as a graphic.
