Using groups as resources

I am a Project 2003 rookie, just fresh off a CBT. Is it possible to
assign tasks to Groups rather than individuals? For example, I have
listed all of my managers as resources for several tasks. Can I simply
assign it to a group called "All Managers?" Is that possible?

Hi,
You can create a generic resource such as "All Managers?" with Maxi units =
4 if there are 4 managers, but Project'll not manage that in this generic
resource one of them is called Peter, the second one is John...(individuals
resources already used)
