Using Scanner from inside a database to download a picture

I'm trying to figure out how to access a Twain device for my scanner to
operate it straight from a database to get a picture. Any input would be
greatly appreciated.

PC Datasheet

Use the Shell function to run the scanner software. Look at Shell Function
in the Help file.
