using show-on within windows-xp

Does anybody know how to enable the show-on function within
the 'slide show setup' menu ? According the help within
Powerpoint this enables you to show the presentation on a
second monitor and read the notes on your laptop. However
the remark is that you have to use Windows98/Me and I have
Windows-XP Professional installed on my laptop. (I'm using
MS Office 2000)
Thanks !

First, you need to have a second monitor or a projector connected and you
need to set up your Display Properties to extend the desktop to the second
monitor. In Windows XP right click the desktop, select Properties and click
on the Settings tab.
