Is there a way that I can add sounds to the buttons that Frontpage created
for me?

In theory yes. In practicality, forget it. It will take too long for the
sound to load and play. if the button is a link to another page, in most
cases the sound will never play because the page has changed.
If you must have it, use Flash.

The sound that I had in mind was something small, no more than 2k, like a
beep or something. Could that work, maybe by using ONMOUSEOVER?
