Is there a way to have a presentation playing on one
screen while viewing the master slide view in another?

Yes. Connect a second monitor. The right click your Desktop and select
Properties. Go to Settings and set up the second monitor. In PowerPoint go
to Slide Show > Set up Show and set the Show to display on the secondary
monitor. Let us know if you need more information.

I am currently running this setup. My problem is that when
I have the slide show playing on the secondary monitor I
cannot do anything else. As soon as I go to a different
window the show will stop playing. I need the show to
continue playing all the time. Any ideas on how to make
this happen and also let me do other things on the other
monitor ?? Please respond to my email address as I do not
get into these newsgroups to often....
