Using VBA with Pivot Table Report Filter

I am trying create a pivot table in Excel 2007 that only contains the new
information since the last workbook-save for a non-excel-using co-worker, so
she won't have to touch the pivot table.

Can I manipulate the ReportFilter with VBA so that only new data is
automatically refreshed in the Pivot Table?

Unfortunately I have only the pivot table to work with since our accounting
software will only create ODBC connections in Excel via pivot table.
Changing dates in the query each time means that I have to export a new pivot
table in a new workbook without the necessary other macros I have written to
convert the data into another file type for upload.

If this topic has been address already in this group, please point the way.
Thank You!
