Using video as a background

Mike Giordano

Does anyone know if it is possible to use video as the
background in a Powerpoint slide presentation. I am
using Powerpoint 2003. I have been unable to find any
information on this in the help system.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

In short....videos are classed as a "media object" in powerpoint. All media objects play "on top" of your content.

So the answer is no.

The only workaround is an animated gif (restricted to 256 colors, not really a video), which powerpoint can play behind
your content.
