#Value in cell

After we save excel spreadsheets we notice that some
fields revert to show #Value as opposed to the actual
number.

We find this happens most of the time when we save the
spreadsheets and not before running a save.

Jack, you don't mention what version of Excel you're using, but in Excel
2003 that happens when I set calculation to "Manual" with "Recalculate
before save." You might check that setting under Tools > Options >
Calculation.
