View Critical Path - Nothing Happens

OK so I followed the instructions to show the critical path in my
project. First I did View, More Views, Detail Gantt. Some extra bars
appeared with numbers of days at the end of them. Didn't seem to mean
anything useful and wan't a critical path. So I tried View Gantt
Chart, and used the Gantt Chart wizard to format the chart to show the
critical path. Nothing happened. Chart still looks like it always did.
All tasks still in same colour.

What did I do wrong?
