View of Resource Assignments

I have 20 Projects currently being read from Microsoft
Project Server. All projects are listed in the "Project
Center" screen. If you select any one of the projects,
it correctly shows all Resources used on each Task in the
Project - this is viewed through the Tasks Summary
Screen. However, when I select the View Resource
Assignments page, which should show a summary of all
Resources, Resources are missing that are allocated to a
specific project.

The question is, why would Resouces used for a specific
project be dropped from Resources Summary screen when the
project is properly being shown in all other views?

Thanks in advance!

Information about resource assignments in any project will not show up in
the View Resource Assignments page of PWA until the assignments for that
project have been published using Collaborate - Publish - New and Changed
Assignments or Collaborate - Publish - All Information. If you have saved
the plan in the Project Server database, but have not published the project
(Collaborate - Publish - Project Plan), the project will still appear in the
Project Center page, even though it has not been published.

Does this explain your situation? Do the resource assignments show up in
the View Resource Assignments page AFTER you have published the assignments
using the steps shown above? Also, have you clicked the "All assignments"
link in the sidepane of the View Resource Assignments page to make sure that
you are seeing every one of your resource assignments? Let me know.

One further comment - local and generic resources will not be displayed in
the assignment view
