I used to use MS Home Publishing (win 98) to create business documents. I
have replaced it with Publisher 2003, only to find that I can't open the
files with the new software (old files are .php extensions) Anybody?

Two totally different programs my friend. You will need to install Home
Publishing again and use that program for editing php files. Microsoft
Publisher is a DTP program, and only shares the *Publish* portion of the
name. You could install your Home Publishing program again, export the php
files as image files and then insert those into Publisher.

=============================
Your Home Publisher .php files should
open successfully in any version of MS
Picture It! or MS Digital Image Pro.

As you have been advised by several
others...php files are not compatible with
MS Publisher. However...if you have a
program that will open the .php files...
you could copy/paste the content of a
page into an MS Publisher project as
an image. Editing the layers of a MS
Home Publishing .php project in MS
Publisher will not be an option.
