Viewing 2 Powerpoint files simultaneously

Jeff

I have Office XP. Within Word, if I open a second Word file a second window
opens and I can therefore copy and paste between the two. When I open a
second file in PowerPoint it does not open a separate second window which
make it difficult to copy and paste between 2 files. Is there a way to
change this behavior?

Thanks.

Jeff

Open presentation #1, then open presentation #2.

Now click on Windows => 'Arrange all' and both will be visible.

Do you mean viewing (as in editing mode) or playing two presentations at
once? If you mean playing, PowerPoint is designed as a single instance
application. (It can only play one presentaion at a time.) There some add
ins that allow you to play two at a time but it requires a very powerful PC
and very simple animations in order to get a quality playback.
