Viewing Mail Before Anyone Logs In

Rick

I've got two users using outlook on the same computer. Both with
different user names and passwords. When you start outlook it brings
up the last user's email & then asks for your user name and password.
While this prevents further sending and receiving of mail, you can
still read the last user's old mail without any problem at all! I can
change what view popps up, but all you have to do is click on "inbox" &
read their old mail.

How do I stop the old mail from coming up until a password is entered?
How do you stap anything in outlook from showing up until a password is
entered, much less email?

Just to clarify things a little --

What version of Outlook are you using, and if 98 or 2000, what mail support
mode? If you're not sure, look at the second line of Help | About Microsoft
Outlook -- it should say "Internet Mail Only" or "Corporate/Workgroup".
(Outlook 97, 2002, and 2003 don't have separate modes.)

Also, are the "different names and passwords" for Outlook or for Windows?
Do you have profiles set up in Outlook?

Set up separate Windows profiles for each user and configure their Outlook
with their own settings.
