virus scanning standalone PST files

I have a bunch of PST files. Some of them contain viruses (Navidad, Melissa,
etc.).

I am going to import these files into a CMS database. I need them to be
virus free.

Can any products scan and clean standalone PST files? I can't open them all
in Outlook as there are many gigs worth.

I think the Q is 'can clean'; I dont think an AV is able to 'see inside' the
pst to do this. In scanning a pst the AV sees only a single file.

BitDefender http://www.bitdefender.com/index.php will clean standalone PSTs.
They have a free version that offers cleaning only, not protection.
