vlookup in excel

Hi,

I need to compare two documents in excel. Right now I am printing out the
two documents and looking for additions/deletions in the most current list
manually. Can I use vlookp up to look for additions/deletions? Both
documents have a the same information (i.e store #, address, etc). I get a
new document every week to match my old document to... I hope this makes
sense... Please help! I'm new to this...

for ideas on locating duplicates. VLOOKUP's main purpose is to return
related information not compare lists.
