wants the password....

Anybody else have this problem? occasionally it's like Outlook Express
wakes up in the morning and says "nah, i don't like that password
anymore, give me another one!"

today was one of those days. Outlook Express will not let me get my
mail because the password seems to be wrong. Same password as always,
been using it for months/years, but today, outlook thinks it's the
wrong one. Why?

rebooted the computer, checked the mail servers [OK], checked the
website [OK], checked my account [OK]. it seems to be Outlook Express
just doesn't like my password anymore.

anything to do about this? or do i need to go in and really change the
password on my servers?

thanks for any help, it is greatly appreciated.

I'm having a related problem (I believe).

I'm attempting to make the switch from Eudora to Outlook 2002.
I have domain and mail service through register.com, and my DSL is
through earthlink.

I copied the POP configuration data from Eudora to Outlook.
Eudora works fine, but the same data (including the pwd) do not work in
Outlook. Outlook will send email, but not receive email from the
server.
I have double-checked my pwd. I even changed it on the server and made
sure to match it on Outlook's configuration. And I have followed
Outlook's instructions for authentication.

Please advise.
