I am trying to deploy office 2003 to our users and have
created a transform file with all the settings I'd like
deployed but one setting is not getting set. Tools |
Options | Security | "Warn before printing, saving or
sending a file that contains tracked changes or comments"
is the setting I am unable to get applied. I've tried
configuring this in a GPO, also tried using the custom
maintenance wizard to push this setting after deployment
but had no luck.
I also thought that maybe chaining the office updates to
the installation was causing this to not get set so i
removed the chained installation. I also ran the
installation on a pc set this setting then ran the Office
Profile Wizard to create a .ops file and used that during
the creation of the transform file but all have failed.
None of these turned this option on. I have not found
anything on this discussion board or the ms support site
about this issue.
